Our teams are friendly, professional, and knowledgeable, and they can do detailed fire door surveys and make sure that you follow fire door regulations. There are also fire doors that are going to be put in. We have to sign them off.
We take great pride in giving the best service we can. Our experts write the best reports in their field. Our inspectors will check all of the fire doors in your building and give you a report that lists any problems they find. Then you will be able to make better decisions about fire safety.
When should your fire doors be checked?
The frequency of inspections is based on how often the building is used. Having six-monthly checks in a quiet, small office would be better than having them every three months. In contrast, a hospital, school, or residential building would need more inspections than a simple house. So, as a "responsible person," you need to know the environment and how the fire doors under your control will be used.
A fire safety code says that inspections should be done every six months. This code is called BS 9999: Code of practice for fire safety in the design and use of buildings. Also, the Fire Safety Order and the Fire Safety Act require that fire doors be checked and kept up to date.
Metro-PAT 24/7 Ltd says that you should have your fire doors checked at least once every six months.
How can Metro-PAT 247 Ltd help you with fire safety?
Metro-PAT will give you expert advice all the way through the process, helping you figure out what to do next to make sure you meet fire door regulations.
This report also tells you if you need to take any corrective action. So, the person who is in charge of maintenance can use this report to plan the work. If you make your fire doors meet the law, you will be able to do that as well.
Furthermore, our BM-Trada Q-Mark-accredited in-house Fire Door Maintenance Team can do any repairs that need to be done. As a result, you can be sure that the doors are now in line with the law.
